(After) John Lennon (1940- 1980, British) A marker illustration of John and Yoko in caricature form on a page of sheet music titled ‘Violin; Sonata VI’. Done in Lennon's distinctive, fluid style of drawing, it is signed and attributed to the artist, musician and former Beatle, with a hand inscription at the bottom reading, “John Lennon”. The unframed sheet measures 9.5 x 12 inches, and has some wear and discoloration to the edges, with some foxing. It has been mounted, matted and framed measuring 20.5 x 16.5 inches.
