18th Century Portuguese Sideboard Console Table With Three Hand-Carved Drawers

Antique serving table console, of elmwood, having a rectangular top over triple frieze drawers, each hand carved with palmettes flanked by scrollwork, its front decorated by incarved crosshathing, on foliate-carved serpentine stretcher, raised on square-section tapering legs. CONDITION: Top showing sagging and stress crack typical for a case this age, a "Z" scratch in the center.
